Before you ask.

What does a website actually cost?
Pricing
Essential starts at £1,250, Signature at £2,500 and Flagship at £6,000. Every build is a fixed price agreed in writing before anything starts — there is no hourly billing and no invoice at the end that you did not see coming.
How long does a website take?
Timeline
Essential goes live in 5 working days from kickoff, Signature in 10, and Flagship in two to three weeks — in every case once we have your content, which is the part that actually decides the date. That pace is the method: built with AI-assisted tooling and reviewed line by line, which is how we ship these scores in ten days rather than ten weeks. You get a fixed date in writing before you commit.
Do I own the site?
Ownership
Entirely. Code, design files, domain and every account are yours, transferred on final payment — unless you are on a monthly maintenance plan, in which case we keep hosting and running it for you, which is what the plan is. It is still yours either way, and it all comes across whenever you ask or the plan ends. We do not hold clients hostage with proprietary platforms.
Can I edit it myself, or will you do it?
Edits
Either. Signature and Flagship are built on a headless CMS, so the copy and images are yours to change whenever you want. You never have to, though — every monthly plan includes an hour of edits, so you send us the change and we make it, with that time already covered by the fee rather than billed on top. Essential does not ship with a CMS; on that tier we handle the edits for you.
Do I need a monthly plan?
Retainers
No. The build stands alone, and the plans run on 30 days’ notice. Care is £200 a month for hosting, updates and small edits; Growth is £450 and adds search, email and SMS; Scale is £950. Most clients take one because that is where the compounding happens, but it is never a condition of working together.
What is the 95+ Lighthouse guarantee?
Guarantee
Every build ships at 95+ Lighthouse Performance, 100 Accessibility, 100 Best Practices and 100 S/GEO — mobile and desktop. If it does not, we fix it before the final invoice. Lighthouse SEO 100 means the technical foundation is done properly: crawlable, indexable, structured. Rankings come from content and authority, which is what the monthly plans build. The scores cover the site as delivered — third-party scripts added later are outside the guarantee.
Who hosts it, and what happens if it breaks?
Hosting
We do, on every monthly plan — hosting, SSL, backups, updates and monitoring are included rather than billed as extras. If something breaks it is our problem to fix, and you are talking to the two people who built it, not a ticket queue.
What does the AI chatbot cost to run?
AI systems
Two parts, and the second one continues. Setup is £495 standalone, £300 on an Essential build, and free with Signature or Flagship. Running it is £79 a month for hosting, query tokens and updates — already bundled into the Growth and Scale plans. When a tier says it includes chatbot setup, it means the setup, not the monthly.
Can the voice receptionist really answer my phone?
AI voice
Yes — it answers, routes calls and books appointments. What we deploy as standard is overflow and out of hours: it picks up when nobody in the business does, rather than replacing your switchboard. Always-on answering is available and quoted separately. Setup is £495, waived with a 12-month commitment to the Scale plan. Standalone it is £349 a month including 600 minutes, then £0.25 a minute; on the Scale plan it is £299 a month with unlimited calls on that standard configuration, one site, and no per-minute charge. We would rather you checked the standalone allowance against your real call volume before committing than found out later.
What is GEO, and why is it on your pricing page?
AI search
Generative Engine Optimisation — being the source an AI answer engine cites when someone asks it a buying question, rather than the tenth blue link. It is a different job to classic SEO: clean structure, machine-readable data, and content written to be quoted. Signature builds for it, Flagship adds citation tracking so you can see where you are being named.
What do you need from me?
Process
Brand assets if you have them, access to your existing accounts, and roughly two hours across the project for a kickoff call and two review sessions. We handle the rest.
